Federal polytechnic of oil and gas bonny is a petroleum based polytechnic located in bonny, Rivers state, which is the southern part of Nigeria.
This institution is a special polytechnic based on the fact that it has grounded its education system in courses related to petroleum.
The institution have a high specialization and has proved unspeakably well in dispensing information in the right way. As other polytechnics in the country, Federal polytechnic of oil and gas bonny has a similar processes required for interested candidates to be admitted to their institution.
Candidates who got 120 and above in their UTME and also have a minimum of 5 O-level credits in their main subjects including mathematics and English language in either of the following examinations i.e. WAEC, NECO, NABTEB and GCE (either NECO or WAEC) in not more than 2 sittings and also pick the institution as their first choice are free to applying for the school Post-Utme.
So for the Post-Utme form will be out in no distance time and the price goes for 2,000 naira only, that is if bank charges are not kept in mind which if it is consider the price of the Post-Utme form would probably go for 2,500 naira in some cases.
based on that this polytechnic is mainly based on petroleum and it courses are related to petroleum, so here are the few courses offered by this great citadel of learning;

This school is one of a kind, it is often advised that since cut off marks are prone to change, it advisable to secure a reasonable cut off mark in jamb and Post-Utme i.e. candidates are expected to get a score of 180 in jamb irrespective of the fact that the jamb cut off mark of the school is 120 and same goes to Post-Utme also.
Because as we move higher in the years to come, available spaces are filled up with large numbers of competing candidates who jostle for the limited available spaces. the more the spaces reduces and the competition as well increases.
Wishing you all good luck in your admission journey.
