FUNAI General Cut off Mark 2021/2022

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board JAMB has announced that all universities be it Federal, private or state should pegged their maximum cut off mark @ 180.
this means that candidates and aspirant who got upto 180 in their jamb score can come forward to purchase the post utme screening form of FUNAI.

Departmental Cut off Mark 2021/2022

Departmental cut off mark is an agreed score set by various departments of an institution. it is a minimum cut off mark that a candidate must meet up to before he or she will be considered for admission.
unlined general cut off mark that is binding on all, departmental cut off mark is not, in fact its largely dependant on the total number of candidates that turn up for the post UTME screening exercise and also their Average score.

below is the information we have presently concerning FUNAI departmental cut off mark

220 – 240 – Medicine (O’ Level result with one sitting only) and Nursing
200 – Mass Communication, Common Law, Pharmacy, Anatomy, Physiology
190 – Computer Science, English Language, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Geology, all engineering courses except Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering.
180 – All other courses

Please note that your Jamb Score, post utme score and your O level results are the main determinant here.

FUNAI Nature of Admission Screening

FUNAI admission screening is very straightforward unlike other universities.
the post utme screening exercise is expected to last for a maximum of 2 weeks after which the post UTME screening score will be published on the school website.

once you have been offered admission by your department of choice what comes up next is what they call departmental/faculty screening.
Before you start the process you must have accepted your admission and also paid a one time acceptance fee which is not refundable.

Documents needed for the screening are :

  • Your original O level results.
  • Birth certificate or affidavit
  • your Jamb original slip
  • attestation letter letter
  • reference letter of good behavior from a recognized individual.
