Does FUNAAB Accept Second Choice for Admission?

No,  Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta [FUNAAB] does not accept second choice for admission.

Taking a federal university like FUNAAB as second choice institution in Jamb, is almost like wasting your time.

This university does give admission to second choice candidates,  no matter what they scored in jamb & post utme exams.

Will FUNAAB Accept Awaiting Results For Admission?

Yes, they will accept awaiting results.

So, if you used awaiting waec, neco or gce results to apply for admission, you may be given admission.

But,  my best advice to you is that you should upload your o level result as soon as it comes out.

FUNAAB Admission Requirements  [JAMB & DE]

University of Agriculture, Abeokuta requires all candidates in search of admission into any of its courses to have no less than five (5) SSCE credit passes in associated subjects at not more than two sittings including English Language and Mathematics.

The candidates must be sixteen (16) years of age by 1st of October in the year of admission.

Funaab Admission Requirements for Agricultural programmes

UTME: You need to have at least Five O level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology at not above two sittings for admission into any course of the programme.

A waiver is given to candidates with pass in Biology if he/she has a credit pass in Agricultural Science.

A pass in Physics is acceptable only for Agricultural programmes.

DIRECT ENTRY: In addition to O level requirements, candidates seeking Direct Entry admission shall own GCE A level passes in Chemistry and any of Biology, Agricultural Science, Physics, Mathematics or Geography.

Holders of ND/HND qualifications with at least Upper credit in agriculture or correlated disciplines may be considered for Direct Entry.

The University accepts NCE with at least credit in Agricultural Sciences.

Requirements for Sciences and Engineering programmes

UTME: Five O level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology at not more than two sittings for admission into any course of the programme.

DIRECT ENTRY: In addition to O level prerequisites, candidates in quest of Direct Entry admission shall have GCE A level passes in any two of the following: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Zoology/Botany OR ND (Upper Credit), NCE (Credit) in related areas from a recognized Institution.

NCE (Technical) is not within acceptable limits for Engineering Programmes. Holders of ND/HND qualifications with at least Upper credit in agriculture or interrelated disciplines may be considered for Direct Entry.

The University accepts NCE with at least credit in Agricultural Sciences.

Management Sciences Programmes Requirements

UTME: Five O level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other Social Sciences subject from Government, Principles of Account, Commerce and Geography are required for admission into Economics, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Enterprise Management and Entrepreneurial Studies.

DIRECT ENTRY: In addition to O level requirements, applicants in search of Direct Entry admission shall possess GCE A level passes in Economics and at least one of the following: Mathematics, Government, Accounting, Business Management OR ND (Upper Credit) in Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline. It accepts its own Diploma plus UTME funaab admission requirements.
