Nigerian Airforce recruitment form

Nigerian Air force is a branch of the Nigerian armed forces, in fact they are among the largest Air force in Africa as at today.

The importance of the Nigerian Air-force can not be overemphasized in military warfare in fact its widely said in some quarters that with out a superior Air support no battle can easily be won while on the other hand any military that has the strongest Air support will surely win.

Joining the Nigeria military comes with a stringent requirement and the Nigerian Air force is no exception, you must meet the basic requirement before your application will be accepted and consider for possible enlistment into the Nigerian Air force.

Nigerian Airforce category of recruitment 2023/2024:

Like we have said not everyone can be enlisted into the Nigerian Air force, first you have to be physically fit and also possess some special educational requirements.
So let see the category below :

Nigerian Air force recruitment for non tradesmen / women :

If you are applying as a non tradesman or woman you should possess the least educational requirements which is an O level results and you must have nothing less than 3 credits pass ( Mathematics and English language a must).

This means that non tradesmen and women unit has to do with strictly secondary school graduates. If you are a university graduate you won’t be accepted here.

There are other things you must note about non tradesmen/women unit of the Nigerian Air force recruitment which we will like you to take note of. This has to do with the age limit; applicant here must be between the age of 18 to 22.

Nigerian Air force recruitment for tradesmen / women :

If you are applying as a tradesmen or women you should have the following certificate :

ND (with minimum of Lower Credit), NABTEB, RN/RM/NCE or City & Guild Certificate
And you must be between the age of 18 to 25 and those applying for the position of drivers need to be up to 18 to 28.

Nigerian Air force recruitment for Direct Short Service Course (DSSC) and Short Service Course (SSC)  :

The DSSC and SSC are for graduate before you can apply for this unit, you have to be a graduate with BSc or HND from a recognized institution.

One of the difference between Direct Short Service Course (DSSC) and Short Service Course (SSC) is that Direct Short Service Course (DSSC) is for non combatant which means they don’t need them to fight any war or engage in any warfare.

On the other hand Short Service Course (SSC) has to do with combatant services, this means that once you are recruited into the Nigerian Air force through SSC you will have to perform or participate in any military action when the need arises.

If you want to apply for the above you need to be between 22 and 30 years (22-35 for those applying as consultants).
