invalid characters found while creating your Jamb profile through the SMS options means that you are missing something or you are doing something that the system didn’t recognize.
So join me as i walk you through some of the major culprit here and how you can resolve it immediately without paying anyone any dime.
not including space in your name: jamb has advised candidates who want to create a jamb profile through SMS option to always include just a single space in between your names.
if you mistakenly exclude a space space you will surely get a negative response from the system, because the system is configured in a way that only always candidates to include spaces on between their names.
secondly you should not allow more than one space, I have seen a situation where a candidate gave more than 4 space, please this is wrong, Jamb said just one space.
sending an invalid characters : while typing your names don’t ever type a number, don’t include any number along with your name. the system is not configured to accept figures along with names. e. g sending Ibrahim42 is wrong.
If you fail to abide by the instruction given by jamb then you will surely get an Invalid Character Found response.
unknown error : I have received some messages about this, if you are sure you have followed all the rules as outlined by jamb and you still get unknown response. then its time to change your Sim card,just get a new sim and continue.
